Eric Weishaar, President and Owner of Wiser Lending

Eric Weishaar has been in the mortgage industry since 2005 and has helped many individuals and families realize their homeownership goals.  Having worked for large retail companies, smaller mortgage banks and wholesale mortgage brokers, he has a real perspective of the whole mortgage industry.

Eric focuses on education and consultation with each client to ensure their questions are being answered and that they understand this crazy industry a little bit more than when they first started.  With his expert knowledge in all types of loans, Eric can be your expert guide throughout the loan process.

In 2015 Eric was recognized by the Scotsman Guide as a Top Loan Originator for 2015.  He ranked #66 nationally on their list for Top VA Loan Volume.  His focus on helping Veterans has been a highlight of his mortgage career and he takes very seriously serving those who have served our country.

Eric lives in Austin Texas with his wife, Bethany and 3 children – Dominic, Maribel and Austin.  He attended the University of Texas – Go Longhorns! – and is an avid sports fan.  Eric spends his weekends with his family, watching the game and grilling BBQ.
